Burda has offered sewing patterns since 1949. Based in Germany, Burda produces over 700 designs in collections that are updated twice a year. All Burda patterns are graded for sewing skill right on the envelope, so you know what sort of difficulty you’re getting into before you buy.
Burda patterns come in four catalogs. The Main catalog includes most of the apparel patterns, including a great selection of plus-size clothing. The Young catalog is full of trendy, free-spirited, fun styles designed for teens and young women. Look to the Carneval catalog for dozens of fantastic costumes, for adults as well as kids. And the Kids catalogue is bursting with styles appropriate for every activity from play dates to school to formal parties.
